Maurice joined Schindler and Cimring in October 1997 and became a partner of the firm in December 1998. Maurice is an experienced legal practitioner with a sound knowledge of South African commercial, property and corporate law. He is a highly experienced and established litigation attorney.
Maurice has had extensive experience in general tax consulting, the interpretation of tax laws, international taxation and remuneration consulting, VAT and tax implications of joint ventures, fiduciary/trustee responsibilities, liaison and submission of tax exemption application to SARS and the Reserve Bank, research and advice to public sector organisations, restructuring of operations in section 21 companies and various due diligence investigations and reviews.

Lisa joined Schindlers Attorneys in 2000 and became a partner of the firm in March 2002. Lisa’s hard work and enthusiasm for law are evident in her past case dealings, current client base and the wide knowledge and experience she has gained in the practices of family law and more recently, in commercial litigation and commercial law. She heads up a diverse department and has experience in a wide range of fields, including labour law, competition law, commercial transactions, property law, constitutional law and general litigation. As a result of her exposure to the above variety of fields she has developed a keen interest in commercial transactions and litigation.

Marius is a Partner at Schindlers and is currently head of the conveyancing department at Schindlers. After being admitted as an attorney in March 1998 Marius practised for his own account for a number of years before joining Schindlers as a Partner.

Andre is an experienced litigation, commercial and tax practitioner. He has specialised knowledge and expertise in property law, corporate restructuring and due diligence exercises, exchange control, insolvency and corporate recoveries, joint ventures, mining law, outward and inward investments, private partnerships, sale and lease backs, schemes of arrangement, establishment of local and offshore companies and trusts, arbitrations, reviews and sale and transfer of private juristic entities and businesses.
Andre has been involved in several large South African and International commercial transactions and has provided advice to scores of domestic and international corporates and individuals. Andre has additionally represented several high profile clients in various criminal proceedings.

Sarah is a Partner at Schindlers and specializes in commercial law and litigation. Sarah has advised various multinational and local companies on a broad range of commercial matters including general commercial agreements, supply and service agreements, joint ventures and franchising and distribution arrangements. She has practiced in all areas of employment law and has advised on the employment law implications of business transfers.
She was admitted as an attorney in the High court of South Africa in 2004 and became a partner in March 2006.

Celeste is a Partner at Schindlers Attorneys and together with Marius van Rensburg runs the conveyancing department. She was admitted as an attorney, notary and conveyancer in March 2007 and became a partner in January 2011.
Being in the conveyancing department and a practicing conveyancer, Celeste specialises in residential property transfers , bond registrations and related property law issues.
As an admitted notary, Celeste can also assist in the authentication of documents to be used outside of South Africa and the preparation and execution of antenuptial contracts.
